Teaching
I serve as a Course Assistant (CA) for STAT 207: Data Science Exploration at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
This core course explores the complete data science pipeline, bridging theoretical statistical concepts with hands-on computational applications.
Course Assistant Responsibilities
(August 2025 – Present)
- Technical Mentorship: Guide students through the implementation of data science workflows using Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn), Jupyter Notebooks, and Git/GitHub version control.
- Lab & Office Hours: Facilitate weekly open lab sessions, helping students troubleshoot complex programming bugs and master concepts in data wrangling, visualization, and statistical modeling.
- Academic Evaluation: Evaluate individual and group lab assignments, providing constructive feedback on code efficiency, statistical inference, and machine learning model assumptions (e.g., multiple linear/logistic regression, classification).
